FABIAN ANDRES KOSS
Fabian, originally from Argentina, is the Youth Development Coordinator in the Office of External Relations of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)., which is the vehicle through which the IDB supports outreach, advocacy and project development activities.
Fabian is one of the founders and coordinators of the Inter-American Working Group on Youth Development (IAWGYD), a consortium of international donor agencies which seek to increase resource support and promote learning around effective youth development programs in the hemisphere. In 2000 the IDB Youth Program received the United Nations World Youth Award for its achievement in implementing the UN World Program of Action for Youth. In 1997, Fabian was awarded the CEMECA award for his continuous commitment to the youth of Central America and the Caribbean.
In 1999, Fabian co-founded the Many Hats Institute (MHI), a nonprofit dedicated to improving the conditions for children and youth worldwide. The strategy of the institute is to leverage time, talent, and resources from the "Many Hatters" from around the world. Fabian served as the International Outreach Co-Chairman for the National Capital Chapter of the Red Cross.
