Alexandra M. MigoyaAlexandra Migoya - Vice Chair - is a seasoned corporate professional, creative writer, educator, and long-time promoter of arts and culture.  Her career over the last 15 years has successfully combined private sector experience with creative ingenuity in supporting arts and cultural organizations in a variety of capacities.  Her experience in the private sector has given her the business acumen and relationships to successfully lead programs and participate as a champion of the arts and other creative ventures.  She is a principal of Paloma Blanca Enterprises, Inc., a company providing production, project management and advisory services to philanthropic and artistic ventures advancing social, artistic or cultural initiatives.

Ms. Migoya received her Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center and received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Cornell University with a double major in Spanish Literature and English Literature, and a minor in International Relations. At Cornell she was a member of the Latin American League, and received the Latin American League Scholar Award for Excellence in Academics; She attended La Universidad de Sevilla in Seville, Spain and wrote her Senior Thesis on the Art of Translation and translated the poetry of Spanish poet José Hierro.  She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.
